Dan Welton

Dan Welton

Dan Welton was born in Switzerland in 1975. Growing up in an artist’s family, he was always involved with music and as a child he followed his dad for all his hippy gigs. During his teenage years, Dan fell in love with electronic sounds, and covering the Acid house phenomenon and listening to acts like Prodigy, The Shamen and Depeche Mode. After a first trip to Ibiza in 1999, he became totally addicted to all kind of house music and never went back.
His productions, remixes and collaborations have already been championed by guys like Layo & Bushwaka, Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Steve Lawler, Mark Knight, Alex Niggemann, Andrew Grant, Solomun, H.O.S.H., Paco Osuna, Noir, Pete Gooding, Rene Amesz to name but a few…
Yet his talents do not end there. International DJ bookings throughout Europe (London, Ibiza, Oslo, Lithuania, Croatia and many more) have flooded in, thanks to his ability to inject his infectious twisted sounds on any club sound system he graces. In 2007, Dan won the “Clubbing Revelation DJ” award in Switzerland. From there he started to produce his own weekly radio show called “Crunch” on national FM Radio that immediately became the reference for the freshest sound around.
Last but not least, he is also promoting his monthly “Shove” club night (with international guests) that is simply one of the fastest rising brands and busiest party in the Swiss club scene. Busy working on his debut album, new remixes, developing and more international projects Mr. Welton is definitely one to watch in the future…
